This syllabus contains a summary of the research that took place to create a transferrable Introduction to Education course offered by a Mott Community College in Flint Michigan. The course is entitled "Teacher Education 240", is worth 3 credits and requires a 30 hour observation and interaction experience along with the content material. The main benefit of the course is that it allows the student to get a very good idea of what the teaching profession requires and structure of teacher education profession. This course is offered completely online using the Blackboard system in 15 units along with online testing and required experience documentation procedures. A discussion board is also included to enhance the topical matter and share experiences from the observations and interactions in the classroom.
