This PowerPoint presentation, from a 2008 NACCTEP conference session given by Project TEACH at GRCC, describes elementary school teachers views of the nature of science as exhibited in a survey and from classroom observations.

details

The PowerPoint provides a brief overview of the nature of science and our research groups efforts to determine how these views change over time. The student involved giving a survey called Dialogs on Technology and Science to introductoiry science student, juniors in a science teaching methods course and in-service teachers. We developed this PowerPoint for a highly interactive one-hour NACCTEP session.
