What Is a Package?

What is a "Package"?
Welcome to the NACCTEP Member Learning eXchange, an implementation of the openMLX project (MLX Learning eXchange) based on the original Maricopa Learning eXchange created at the Maricopa Community College District.
The NACCTEP MLX was purposely designed by its architects to provide a wide range of items as packages: "Packages are anything created for or applied to an effort that supports community college teacher education programs and student learning."
But that too sounds pretty general for the concrete-minded audience, so here are a few examples that may help you understand the types of packages that the MLX stocks inside the walls. These are the categories we ask package owners to use to classify their items. Note that this is not an exhaustive list, just to help you provide a frame of reference.
The Four "P's" of Package Types
The list below should give you some ideas as to the types of information that might be shared here. As the NACCTEP MLX grows, we will start linking these to real examples.
