Repository of the Week: the MLX
Well, we thought that this week we would feature the gem in our own backyard, the Maricopa Learning Exchange aka the MLX.
The MLX is a repository organized by academic areas, topics, colleges and collections. There are a number of excellent materials provided by Maricopa faculty and staff as well as shared by people outside of Maricopa.
Some of the collections include the results of special projects initiated by the District - from Blackboard Support materials, to results from MIL Fellowships, to materials created through Learning Grants.
One of the things that I like best about the MLX is that it is easy to find useful materials there because so many of them have been created by Maricopa faculty for competencies that all of the colleges share.
There is also the opportunity to receive feedback on the RLOs - one of the RLOs that I created and submitted to the MLX is being used in a class in Indonesia.
Check out the MLX and be sure to submit some of your own RLOs and materials.
