RLOs in Blackboard?

It appears that the Blackboard Course Management System is getting involved with reusable learning objects...

In Blackboard's Content System there is an option of having a moderated RLO repository of those developed internally by a District, school etc. RLOs can be submitted, they go through an approval process as established by the institution and then are accessible through the catalog in the content system.

There is also a cool Building Block available that allows the MERLOT RLO repository to be searched from within the Blackboard Course Management System and then inserted into your Blackboard course. Check out an article on this new Building Block.
