CAREO - The Repository of the Week

CAREO - the Campus Alberta Repository of Educational Objects, features contributions from institutions across Canada. Membership in CAREO is free and open to all although you must create an account.

Once you create an account in CAREO, you can search the repository and also create a collection of RLOs that you like in the "My Objects" section.

I did a search for RLOs in my academic discipline, water resources, and found some good RLOs that I can use. I also was impressed with the metadata available.

I found a fantastic interactive video of the water treatment process. The metadata claimed that it was designed for grades 4-6 but it had some great info for an introductory activity.

I recommend taking a look at this repository!
