2005/2006 RLO Goals
Last year, we spent most of our efforts increasing the awareness of what Reusable Learning Objects are throughout the District.
This year, we intend to focus on their use and creation.
We intend to do this through:
Blogging
1. Creating awareness by showcasing a RLO and a RLO repository each month through our blog.
2. Sharing research and experiences throughout the District through our blog.
Learnshops
1. Creating your own RLOs using SoftChalk
2. Creating your own RLOs using Mediator 8
3. RLO101: Searching for and using RLOs - delivered online
4. Using Pachyderm to create RLOs
Attending and Blogging Events
We are planning to attend and blog the following conferences:
1. League for Innovations: CIT conference November 2004
2. League for Innovations: Innovations conference March 2005
3. NMC conference June 2005
As we modify and amend our goals, we will be letting you all know through our blog.
