RLO101 - Going strong

We have 10 faculty participating in our completely online RLO101 LearnShop. Faculty from 6 of the Maricopa Colleges have been learning about Reusable Learning Objects.

The faculty have been reviewing the Maricopa definition of RLOs and comparing it to some widely accepted definitions of RLOs.

Additionally, they have been discussing the "Differences between Search Engines and Repositories."

In later lessons, they will be searching for an RLO in a repository, integrating it into a lesson and peer reviewing each others integration.

We will keep you updated with lessons learned as the course progresses.

Comments...

Lisa, thanks for the update. Can participants pop in and out at any time? In other words, could someone just peek in now if their curious?

Sorry I asked for other RLO postings that were obviously already there. As I just sent out, the problem seemed to be with an old cache copy that kept coming up on Explorer even though you guys were pouring new content in. Hey, at least I didn't write anything TOO offensive this time!! :-)
