Howdy! from Dallas Texas

Hi Y'All. Donna and I are reporting in from Dallas, Texas. We are here to work on the PT3 PathWays project that we've been working on at Maricopa for the development of Real World Learning Objects aka RWLOs and we will be attending the League for Innovations Computers on Information Technology conference beginning on Sunday.

Today we participated in a planning meeting to assess where the Savvy Cyber Professor (SCP)/RWLO project is. It is very exciting to work on this project because although it is a pilot project, it is evolving quite nicely. So often pilot projects start and solicit feedback but never make the changes to create a sound, sustainable project. With this project, most of the comments and feedback provided are incorporated into the next version of the SCP. It is so exciting to see something that you have invested so much time and energy into evolve!

Tomorrow, 2 new cohorts will begin the 8-session training, the first session is face-to-face here in Dallas. Donna and I and many of the participants from the other partnering colleges will be helping the facilitators with the delivery of the SCP. At the end of the 8-sessions, delivered online after the first session, we hope that it will culminate in 48 new RWLOs added to the RWLO library.

If you are going to be at the conference, be sure to check out the talk on RLOs that Donna and I will be presenting on Tuesday at 5pm.
