The RWLOs are rolling

Hi! We are still in Dallas involved in the Pathways project. We were involved in a training session providing information on unique and compelling internet resources that can be incorporated in Real World Learning Objects (RWLOs). I taught the session on using Real-time data.

RWLOs are designed to be somewhat modular. They should be completed in 30 to 60 minutes. They are structured in that they all contain the following information:
Overview of the RWLO
Learning Objectives that the RWLO covers
The recommended Procedure that the instructor should follow to implement the RWLO
The Content Material that the students should follow to utilize the RWLO
An Assessment piece that reviews the content
A reference of the Course Competencies that the RWLO covers
Supplementary Resources that the instructor or student can use for background information
Recommendations for how the RWLO can be used

Feel free to peruse the current RWLO library and check it frequently as new RWLOs are added after they are peer reviewed.
